Markell Johnson A Game-Time Decision For Wake Forest
NC State head coach Kevin Keatts said today that Markell Johnson remains sore from a fall he sustained in the win over Pittsburgh and is a game-time decision for Tuesday's matchup against Wake Forest.
Johnson played just nine minutes against Pittsburgh before injuring his back on the fall. He was initially tabbed questionable to return and after commentators stated he was stretching out his back at halftime he returned to the bench; however, he didn’t play anymore in the game.
The junior point guard is averaging 11.6 points and 4.1 assists this season while shooting 57% from the field and 47% from three-point range.
Keatts also added that junior forward Wyatt Walker would play against Wake Forest. Walker played just two minutes versus Pitt before he was ejected after receiving a technical foul.
