Bates Excited About NC State Visit

Fayetteville (NC) Northwood Temple center Immanuel "Manny" Bates has seen his stock soar after a breakout spring/summer on the AAU circuit.  Initially rated a mid-major recruit, Bates is now a consensus four-star prospect with a plethora of scholarship offers.

"It's been exciting," he said.  "I feel like all my hard work has paid off, and schools have noticed how hard I've worked to get better.
