Who Did He Pick NC State Over? North Carolina, Boston College, Kansas State, and Cincinnati, among others.
IPS Take On Jakeen Harris: Harris is a fun player to watch. He plays with an aggression you love seeing from defensive backs, as he's a willing run-stopper and edge-setter as a nickel.
He is versatile... capable of playing nickel, safety, and even some corner (particularly in zone schemes).
What stands out the most about Harris is his motor and instincts. He attacks downhill and plays with his eyes, which is critical given the need to force turnovers on the college level. Harris isn't afraid to trust his instincts which often leads to huge plays that can impact games.
Instantly he's a player capable of contributing at least on special teams and he should be an ideal fit at nickelback for NC State.
