Illinois Receiver Considers Walk On Opportunity At NC State

NC State offered Naperville (IL) Central QB Payton Thorne awhile back, but while watching his film it was pretty obvious that one of his targets was pretty talented himself.

That evaluation led the Wolfpack to offer Thorne’s top receiving target, Cade McDonald‍. As a senior McDonald hauled in 91 passes for 1,397 yards and 18 touchdowns which were all single-season school records. Along the way he garnered all-area and all-conference honors.
