Muschamp: "We Played A Really Good Football Team"

Will Muschamp met with the media after South Carolina's win over NC State.

Opening Statement...

Really proud of our football team. Those guys fought tremendously. They played a lot of snaps. I think 99 [snaps] on defense. When they drop back and throw it 70-something times, it expenses you a lot. We got to stay on the field more in the second half but offensively, very efficient half.

Threw the ball extremely well throughout the game. Just really proud of how our guys fought. Bottom line, we played a really good football team. NC State has a heck of a football team. Their front seven is as good as we will see all year.

A hat off to how they recruited and developed those players and Dave is an outstanding football coach. Proud of our guys and our crowd was tremendous. I really appreciated Gamecock Nation for coming out and supporting us. Certainly, this is an area that is extremely important to us moving forward, as far as recruiting and print.
