RELEASE: Six Wolfpack Players Named First-Team All-ACC

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State led all league schools with six players named to the All-ACC first-team, the conference office announced today. It marked the most first-team selections for the Wolfpack since 1992. The Wolfpack also had a second-team and third-team choice, plus an honorable mention performer on the official league team.

The Wolfpack boasts a pair of first-team all-conference players at wide receiver, the first school in league history to do so, as junior Kelvin Harmon and RS-junior Jakobi Meyers were both honored. Ryan Finley became the Wolfpack's third first-team All-ACC quarterback in the past 15 years (Philip Rivers in 2003 and Russell Wilson in 2008).

Two members of the Band of Brothers – the Wolfpack's offensive line unit – were honored: center Garrett Bradbury and tackle Tyler Jones. On defense, Germaine Pratt got the nod at linebacker.

Harmon is the lone player in the ACC averaging over 100 yards per game, his mark of 101.7 ranks sixth nationally in the Power-5. With 1,119 yards so far this season, he joins Torry Holt and Jerricho Cotchery as the only players in school history to turn in two 1,000-yard receiving campaigns.

Meyers leads the ACC and ranks sixth nationally with 7.6 receptions per game, and despite missing a game with injury, he is third in the conference with 76 catches. Over his last four games, Meyers has averaged 112.2 yards per game, with three games over 100 yards.

Finley leads the ACC, and ranks seventh nationally, with 307.3 passing yards per game, and also leads the conference with a .674 completion percentage and seven games with at least 300 yards. He is one of just two quarterbacks in school history (and five in ACC history) to turn in three 3,000+-yard passing seasons.

Bradbury was one of eight semifinalists for the 2018 Outland Trophy, and the only center. He has played all but 13 offensive snaps this season, and has not allow a QB pressure in 411 pass attempts while he was in the game. Jones, the starting left tackle, has also played all but 13 snaps this season. He has allowed just one in 2018, in the season opener, and leads the team in total career snaps (3,322).

Pratt, in his first season as a starter at linebacker, leads the ACC in tackles per game with 9.8, a mark that is 10th nationally among the Power-5. He also leads the Pack with 10.5 tackles for loss and six sacks.

The Pack also had three other players cited.

Freshman Christopher Dunn was named to the second-team at placekicker. Dunn currently ranks second in the conference among kickers with 97 points scored, that mark is currently fifth all-time for a single season in the NC State record books and second among kickers (102). He is a perfect 43-of-43 on extra points, and 18-of-21 on field goals. His 18 makes are two away from the all-time single-season record at NC State (20).

RB Reggie Gallaspy, Jr., was named a third-team selection. He ranks second in the ACC with 16 rushing TDs this season, also the second-best mark among Power-5 schools. Gallaspy is the reigning ACC Running Back of the Week after tying the NC State school record with five rushing scores in the OT win at North Carolina, to go along with a career-best 129 yards.

Offensive guard Terronne Prescod received honorable mention honors.
