Senior Quarterback Ryan Finley

“It’s exciting.  I’m very happy for all the seniors that we can go out this way.”

“It was a great team win.”

“I thought we dominated the trenches down the stretch.”

“What an exciting way to win that game.”

“I think they got tired and we didn’t.”

“In the second half we had better conditions, I think you saw that in the score.”

“The conditions in the firs thalf were not great, but I’m proud of our team fo rhow we handled it.”

“We’re naming this stadium Carter-Finley North.”

“I just throw it to them.”

“He made an unbelievable play.  It was nice that we got that review and for him to make that play on that drive, that was absolutely huge.”

“We stayed calm and didn’t go outside of ourselves.”

“I was proud of the way our offense drove down and scored right there.”

Senior Tailback Reggie Gallaspy

“It’s amazing, to finish 3-1 against UNC... to only lose once and in my freshman year.”

“I feel like that anytime I touch the ball.”

“Just coming out here and doing whatever I could.”

“Just trying the process... leaning on my brothers, they helped me fight through... I’m still a little dinged up with me knee and ankle.”

“I love that about coach Doeren, he has a run-first mentality. People get down on us sometimes because things don’t work out in the beginning, but as the game goes on it starts kicking in.”

“I’ve been through a lot since I’ve been here.”

“My memories are the fact that me and my boys did whatever we can to beat UNC... they know I’ve grinded every time I’ve stepped on the practice field.”

“I’ll do whatever it takes.”

“Coach Doeren knew I wanted the ball in my hands.”

Sophomore Linebacker Brock Miller

“Everyone always preaches to be ready. We prepare every week and I keep the same attitude.”

“Every week I was ready to go and ready to play.”

“I’m blessed to be here.”

“I’m from Florida and I was a little cold at first, but once I got warmed up to it I enjoyed it.”

“I just wanted to do my job. Coach Doeren preaches every week to just do your job.”

“We have great leaders on defense. Pratt was on me to be ready, be ready and every week he’d go the extra mile to make sure I knew what was going on and what I was doing.”

“I wanted to go in there and do my job.”

“He called me up and said he’s excited to see me play.”

“Growing up and dreaming of situations like that, it’s a textbook finish... once he scored I looked for the nearest person to celebrate with. That’s a feeling I’ll never forget.”

“We just needed to come together and get back to being us.”

“Coach told us to bow up and do our job.”
