Redshirt freshman Isaiah Moore has developed into a big-time playmaker this season for NC State.  The talented linebacker spoke briefly this week about his success and much more.

You’ve started ten games this season, what has that been like?
It's a blessing. I'm so blessed to be at this university in a position where I can play for this team.
I thank the coaches and all my teammates for believing in me and trusting me with this opportunity.

At what point did you know you could compete in the ACC?
NC State was my only ACC offer so I always had that chip on my shoulder and wanted to prove I could play on this level.  I don't think my confidence ever wavered because I can play at this level.

I'm happy with the success I've had, but I have a long way to go as a player and I have to keep going.

The MIKE position comes with a lot of responsibility...
The Mike position, you have to make all the calls, fit the runs, and know exactly where everyone is going on the field.

I wouldn't say it's added pressure, but [rather] added responsibility.  Just knowing everyone has to be and how to fit off them and how they fit off you.

What is it like playing alongside Germaine Pratt?
It's like having a playbook right next to you. He watches so much film and devotes so much time to his craft.

He's such a great leader for all of us – me, Lou, and Brock.
