NC State senior linebacker Germaine Pratt talks about the challenge facing the Wolfpack this week against Clemson.

More on gameplan last year...
It was a little different on offense because Nyheim was hurt so it changed the approach to the gameplan.

I don't think the defense is going to change the approach. We have to stop the run.

Did you play there your freshman year? You didn't play last time.
Yes, I played there when they had a great team, Beasley and them. I think they shut us out I think.

I think that was the best team I've seen in college football, except for that Jameis Winston team.

What do you remember about the atmosphere?
It's a great crowd. They have a great crowd out there. It should be a great game.

What will it take to bust through this time?
Everyone doing their job and relying on each other and staying tough through adverse times.

It's going to happen this game and we have to stick together, push and finish.  Eleven men on the field have to do their job and be sound on defense, the offense does their job, and just win.

That's what we have to do.

Are these the types of games you come to NC State for?
Every game is a great game for me to come for.  It's another opportunity for me to play the game I love, football.

It doesn't matter who we play. It's another opportunity for me to show my talents.

When you come this close against a team, is it a mental hurdle you have to clear?
No, it's just a new year. It's a new approach.

We have to win.

What makes their running back, Etienne so good?
I guess, he's good. We just have to do our job on defense.

It doesn't matter who is in the backfield to me.
