RAPID FIRE: Terronne Prescod
NC State senior left guard Terronne Prescod answers six rapid-fire questions from Inside Pack Sports.
As a leader, how do you get guys ready for the first road game?
Everyday I try to be as energetic as possible in case we aren’t in our stadium and not feeding off our fans, we can create our own energy. Just trying to keep guys calm as well so we won’t be overhyped as well.
Did you play tackle in this game last year?
Yes sir.
Is it different this year (since you were at tackle last year) or is this business as usual?
It’s always business as usual. Every game I look at the best they have to bring. I prepare myself for their best. It’s different from last year because I’m at guard, not tackle. I’m inside more this year.
What needs to improve in the running game?
Personally, I need to be more vocal and get guys to come together as one. One person can’t miss their block or we have a bad play. I have to make sure everybody is doing their best job so we can run the ball.
What is Cary Angeline going to add to the offense?
He’s going to add variety to the running and passing game. He’s doing well run blocking and catching the ball. He’s another weapon on offense.
What do you think of Marshall’s offense?
They fight hard. I think of them like Boston College’s defense. They play hard and are disciplined. They don’t get out of their gaps and fight to the whistle.
