Roseboro: "We Know What We're Capable Of"
NC State senior defensive end Darian Roseboro talks fall camp, the defensive line, the upcoming season, and much more.
Overall thoughts...
We're just coming in and working, and the end result will take care of itself. We're coming in and buying into the process.
Do you feel the defense can be a lot better than people think?
It all comes down tot he guys in the room.
We know what we're capable of. We just have to take it one day at a time, do our job... just come out ready to work everyday.
What does it do in terms of motivation when you hear people say NC State missed their window?
We really don't think about that.
We're thinking about everybody taking advantage of their opportunity and leaving their own legacy.
Players are going to come through regardless, no matter what... ten years from now.
It's all about leaving your legacy.
How is the depth on the defensive line so far?
We're still trying to find some other guys, but I think we're going to be okay in the long run.
We have a lot of competition and that's pushing guys to get better everyday.
Has it been helpful going up against the offensive line?
I would say it's been helpful because they are a great group of guys.
They come out ready to work. We compete and it makes us better. They make us better, we make them better.
Do you have an individual goals or are you just taking it day-by-day?
Taking it day-by-day... I'm trying to get better and focus on, one more whether it's my first step, inside hand... conditioning.
I'm just taking it day-by-day.
