July is here, which means football is right around the corner!

We started a month-long feature at Inside Pack Sports where we look back at NC State's top offensive and defensive plays from the 2017 season.

The plays are selected on a variety of factors, ranging from level of difficulty, overall impact, importance to the game/season, etc...

James, Steve, and Bryant reviewed the best plays and submitted their top ten plays on each side of the ball.  We put together a composite list, and we will be releasing each play daily, so enjoy!

NC State senior linebacker Airius Moore's late interception in the big rivalry win over North Carolina checks in at No. 5 in our Top 10 defensive plays from the 2017 season!

North Carolina battled to stay in the game and late the Tar Heels started to mount a drive when Moore came up with the big play.  His interception opportunity was there because of the man pressure applied by cornerback Nick McCloud, who batted up the pass in the air.

Moore then showed outstanding instincts by re-directing off his man to come up with the interception.

This was a big play for the Wolfpack in the game, and it is the No. 5 play in our Top 10 defensive plays from the 2017 season.
