NC State could add multiple major targets to the 2019 recruiting class this week with a trio of four-star prospects set to make decisions.

Bailey (NC) Southern Nash four-star running back Zonovan Knight‍ will announce his decision at 4:30 EST on Monday via Twitter.

Bailey (NC) Southern Nash four-star running back Zonovan Knight‍ will announce his decision at 4:30pm on Monday via Twitter.

Knight has narrowed his list to NC State, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech and also held offers from Notre Dame, Tennessee, Wake Forest, and Duke among others.

Lining up as a slotback in the triple-option based offense, Knight rushed for 1,877 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2017. He averaged 13.2 yards per carry, and through two varsity seasons he has totaled 3,019 yards and 50 total touchdowns.

Inside Pack Sports is predicting NC State to land Knight, giving the Wolfpack a dynamic one-two punch at running back with Rome (GA) standout Jamious Griffin‍.  Both players have the size to be three-down backs and the skillsets to work as the primary runner, a change-of-pace back, and/or a slot receiver/receiving threat out of the backfield.

Given NC State is losing Reggie Gallaspy to graduation and redshirt freshman Erin Collins chose to transfer, landing two backs is critical.

Roxboro (NC) Person four-star defensive tackle Joshua Harris‍ will announce his decision at a 6:00pm press conference at his high school on Monday.

A high-motor interior lineman who can occupy blockers, Harris is disruptive and frequently re-establishes the line of scrimmage.

Harris, who has narrowed his list to NC State, Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina, is considered a heavy Wolfpack lean and every indication is he's going to join PACK19.

If he does, it would give NC State three four-star defensive line commitments and verbals from the top three defensive linemen in the state.

That's great and all for the Wolfpack, but what is more important is Harris is a terrific football player.

A high-motor interior lineman who can occupy blockers, Harris is disruptive and frequently re-establishes the line of scrimmage.

Harris finished his junior campaign with 85 tackles, 30 tackles for a loss, and 17 sacks, unreal production from the defensive tackle position.

He is an ideal fit as a nose tackle and physically is ready to play right away as a true freshman.  Landing Harris would shoot the Wolfpack up the rankings given his lofty national ranking.

East Forsyth (NC) safety Khalid Martin‍ is set to announce his decision Tuesday afternoon at 5:30pm a press conference at his high school.

Khalid Martin has been a top target for the Wolfpack for several months, and is rated a four-star prospect by 247.

Martin has named a top seven of NC State, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, and App State.

He says three schools are out front heading into his announcement.

"It's still those seven, but you can say Virginia, NC State, and West Virginia stick out," Martin said.

Sources had indicated to us recently that NC State and Virginia Tech had been the leaders for Martin.

Martin stated that he has "pretty much" decided on his school and gave the reason why.

"Consistency," he said. "It was really about how consistent they've been recruiting me and been on me. I wouldn't say they were on me first but they've been there on me a while now and I know how much they want me."

Physically, Martin checks a lot of boxes.  He has the length and athleticism to cover in space.  He's versatile enough to play either of the safety positions, and he has the size and physicality to slide down to nickel if necessary.

He has been a top target for the Wolfpack for several months, and is rated a four-star prospect by 247.  Martin would be a huge get.
