COMMIT SPOTLIGHT: Trent Pennix

Trent Pennix grew up in Raleigh, playing Pop Warner football just a few minutes from Sanderson High School.  It was at that point when he met future teammate Alim McNeill.

"I've been friends with Alim since the sixth grade," said Pennix.  "I met him in Pop Warner, and we've grown closer and closer.  I remember our freshman year at Sanderson, the first day at practice we stood out to coach Kolstad.
