NC State’s defense consists of all seniors starting in the front six. The expectations are high.

Behind them is a secondary that is significantly younger. It is a unit with veterans that will be called on to lead, a senior who is learning the craft following a position change and younger players that will be looking to emerge.

It is also a group that is hungry.
