WATCH: Payton Wilson Talks Drake Thomas Commitment

NC State freshman linebacker Payton Wilson‍ met with the media after attending a press conference where his friend Drake Thomas picked the Wolfpack.

"Every time he went on a visit he would text me. It would be like 'Did you like it?' or 'What did you think?' and stuff like that. He would tell me if he liked it or not. I would never be like, 'I don't like it' because I didn't want to impact his decision."

"[Playing with Drake Thomas‍] will be exciting. We have talked about it a lot. It will be kind of like a dream come true for us. We are going to be really good friends on the field together. Iit is exciting but we have a lot of work to do. 

"[Wilson's rehab] is going pretty good."

"[Coach Huxtable] probably already knows.  He probably has a microphone in here somewhere."
