NC State wide receiver Victor Snow met with the media to discuss fall camp, his time in Raleigh, and much more!

How do you like in camp so far? How's it just getting out and playing ball? I mean, obviously, there's a difference. How do you feel?
I feel good, man. I feel like the team's finally coming along. Everything's been flowing in a good flow. Coaches are taking care of us, practicing when we compete and getting each other better every day. So everything has been good.
How's Raleigh?
Raleigh is good. Nice weather. Nice place. A lot of good food. It's different from being in New York.
Where in New York?
Upstate New York, Rochester.
Okay. So you're up there. You're near Canada, not too far. It’s a skip and a jump. You get down to Raleigh, was it a culture shock?
A little bit. I didn't know it snows in North Carolina, so it was a little cold when I first got here, but...
Yeah, but it's a big difference. I mean, when it snows down here, everybody panics.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely. It was a little bit of snow, and everybody panicked, and I was surprised about that, but...
How quickly have you jelled with CJ and the receivers?
CJ and the receivers, I hang out with them all the time. All we do is talk football, watch film, throw each other every Saturday in the summer, so it's been really good just bonding with those guys and getting to know those guys.
How did Joker, Coach Joker, set you up at NC State?
When I first got here, just, not only Coach Joker, but Coach Doeren, Coach Goebbel. Like, when I first got here, they just showed me a lot of love. And I feel like this place is home.
When you get to NC State, is there any surprises other than the weather? I mean, in terms of the offense, is everything fitting?
Yeah, everything's fitting. I feel like, everybody's pretty much got the same kind of scheme, same place, so, Coach Roper. Coach Roper is a good offensive coordinator. His assistant coach is also good. Everything's been good.
When school's about to start, how about the campus? You been around there? Check that out.
Yes, sir. Yeah, campus is nice. Campus is really good.I'm starting to... I finally got used to it, over the spring, with all my classes, just navigating through it, but everything's good on campus as well.
You were the first transfer to come in. What was it about NC State that jumped out to you and made you want to go ahead and jump on board?
Just the coaching. They talked to me about the coaching, how they take care of the guys. Not only during football, but, after football, they're going to make me like family. Everything is tight, so they take care of each other. They take care of the guys. I see a lot of alumni here all the time. A lot of alumni come around where they work out here. They get treatment. They just come by and stop by and talk to the team, so I'm really all for stuff like that.
How does it feel? To play P4 football? Are you excited about that?
Yeah. I mean, coming to NC State is a big thing to me. Like, coming from a MAC school to NC State, playing in the ACC, like, it's a dream for me. I hear how packed out the games get, like, playing in front of 60,000. Like, I always dreamed of stuff like that, so it's a big deal to me.
And you're competing in practice?
Yes, sir.
Has the level increased?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. The intensity is always high at practice. Coaches pushing us. Players pushing us. We've been competing since workouts. Going against each other in team runs and stuff like that, lifts. Lifts are competitive, so everything, like, intensity is always high in this place.
Where's the room of growth from here to the first game at Virginia? Where's the room of growth for you?
The room of growth is just, staying consistent, being reliable for my team, whether it's on special teams, offense, just being as reliable as I can.
Where can this team be at the end of the year? What's the capabilities and ceiling for NC State?
I see this team being really good by the end of the year. I feel like we're going to shock a lot of people. We got great leaders. CJ. CJ's a great leader. We have leaders all over. Keenan leads the receiving room. He helps lead the receiving room, so our defense has a lot of leaders on that side, too, so I feel like this team can really shock everybody.
