All right, so you're coming back from an injury after last year. How much are you looking forward to having a full season this year?
Looking really forward to it, man. God, just continue to bless me to be able to come out here and play. So I'm looking forward to it, trust God.
And when you were in the portal last year, what drew you to NC State with Coach Doeren and Coach Eliot?
Yeah, just the family vibe, man. Being wanted, but also knowing I was needed.
And just going into year two of DJ Eliot's scheme, how much more comfortable are you? Even though you were hurt, you were able to have a whole year to learn everything about it.
Yeah, very comfortable, man. I trust the work we put in with the coaches, and without the coaches on my own as well, so very comfortable.
And then with all the additions you have this offseason on the defense, is there anyone that's kind of stood out to you so far since January?
Everybody, the whole defense. Everybody, new, returners. everybody.
And then just last one, how much better do you think the defense will be as a whole? Because you guys have been working hard.
I don't know, but I'll tell you this: y'all gonna find out.
