COMMIT ALERT: Wolfpack Lands Huge In-State Commitment
NC State landed their fourth commitment for the class of 2019 when Shelby (NC) linebacker Jaylon Scott pledged to the Wolfpack.
Scott had landed early offers from Clemson, Duke, North Carolina, Central Florida, Colorado, West Virginia, Maryland, and Syracuse in addition to NC State.
He narrowed his focus to NC State, Clemson, Duke and UNC back in April but the Pack's relentless pursuit helped them emerge as his top school in recent days.
Rated a four-star prospect and the No. 12 player in North Carolina by Inside Pack Sports, Scott (6-2, 220 pounds) totaled 85 tackles, five sacks, and three forced fumbles as a junior playing alongside All-American LB Dax Hollifield.
