COMMIT VIDEO: Wyatt Walker
NC State landed a commitment last week from Samford University grad transfer Wyatt Walker, and the redshirt junior is expected to contribute right away for the Wolfpack.
He missed the 2017-2018 season due to a torn meniscus, but the season before he was all-conference after averaging 12.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
The 6-foot-9, 240-pounder redshirted this year and because he is graduating on May 11th he will have two full years of eligibility remaining. Walker chose the Wolfpack over Wisconsin and Oklahoma State among others.
"I think with what I bring to the table and with my skillset I can complement any team," Walker told Inside Pack Sports. "I like the style of play in terms of getting up and down the floor, high-low actions, pick-and-pops, pick-and-rolls... I can play almost like a point forward in the system so I do believe it's a great fit for me."
Walker is set to graduate on May 11th and is expected to be in Raleigh for the summer on May 15th.
