NC State has landed a commitment from Coastal Carolina transfer quarterback Tad Hudson, a former four-star prospect who began his college career at UNC.
During the 2025 season with the Chanticleers, he threw for 1,253 yards, six touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
Hudson started against Louisiana Tech in the 2025 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl, completing 25 of 49 passes for 311 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
He played in one game in 2024, completing 17 of 26 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.
