Myers Park (NC) star defensive end Damaad Lewis has just announced his commitment to NC State. The 2026 defender decommitted from Florida State earlier this month after committing to the Seminoles in November of 2025.
Lewis, who stands at 6’4 and 245 pounds, is rated as a high 3-star prospect and the No. 20 player in the state of North Carolina by 247Sports. He is NC State’s 26th prep commitment in the 2026 class.
Lewis is the younger brother of Carolina Panthers offensive lineman Damien Lewis.
He will be a summer enrollee for the Wolfpack.
