NC State just landed a huge commitment from Miami sophomore wide receiver Joshisa Trader, a former high school teammate of CJ Bailey and one of the top wideouts in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
The 6-foot-1, 192-pounder has 19 career catches for 269 and two scores, as he played in 18 games for Miami over two years.
Trader made his first career start in the 2024 Pop-Tarts Bowl vs. Iowa State, where he finished with three catches for 61 yards and a 40-yard touchdown catch.
As a sophomore he made three starts, including at SMU where he totaled five catches for 81 yards and a score.
Trader was one of the nation’s top-ranked offensive playmakers, in the 2024 class.
A five-star prospect by ESPN, he was rated the No. 5 wide receiver in country and No. 4 overall player in state of Florida by ESPN. He was also ranked the No. 17 overall player in nation regardless of position in ESPN 300.
Trader was tabbed a four-star prospect by 247Sports, On3 and Rivals, checking in at No. 49 overall in the 247Sports Composite Rankings and No. 56 in the On3 Industry Rankings.
