La. Monroe DT Jerome Simmons Sets NC State Visit

Louisiana Monroe defensive tackle Jerome Simmons entered the portal officially on Wednesday and NC State has already scheduled an official visit, according to his agency, The Business of Athletes.

Simmons, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 340 pounds, played in eight games on defense, totaling 10 tackles, three quarterback pressures and a pass breakup.

He has already picked up offers from NC State, Memphis, and UConn.

Simmons spent two years at Highland CC where he totaled 50 tackles, 11.
