COMMIT ALERT: Texas OL Daniel Cruz Picks NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from Texas redshirt freshman interior lineman Daniel Cruz.

Cruz, a 6-foot-3, 312-pound interior lineman, played in three games in 2025 for the Longhorns.  He is capable of playing guard or center and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

A former high school All-American, Cruz was selected to participate in the 2024 Under Armour All-America Game.  He was rated No. 149 nationally, No. 10 among interior offensive linemen, and No. 26 overall in the state of Texas by On3 – and ranked No. 160 nationally, No. 5 among offensive guards, and No. 27 overall in the state of Texas by Rivals.
