Penn State transfer safety King Mack, who was just on campus for a visit, is headed to NC State.

Mack earned 58 total tackles, 1 interception, 3 pass breakups, 0.5 sack, and 1 tfl in 2025.

The 5’10 193 pound safety has played his first and third year of college football at Penn State, while spending his second year at Alabama.

A four-star safety in the 2023 class, Mack signed with Penn State out of high school before transferring to Alabama after his freshman year. He returned to Penn State in 2025 and started at free safety, finishing the year with 58 tackles, a pass breakup and an interception.

Mack was a honorable mention All-Big Ten honorable mention selection and graded out well per PFF, as he 77.9 overall defensive grade was Top 15 among Big Ten safeties and his 81.6 coverage grade was Top 12 in the league.
