IPS Take On Brown (by PJ Williams):
I was really high on Brown ahead of his official visit to NC State in June of this year. His junior tape shows explosiveness, and he’s got traits that Dantonio Burnette can build upon as he works to add mass to his long frame.
Brown possesses the speed to play the hybrid outside linebacker position that DJ Eliot covets but will need to add strength and technique as a defender on the line of scrimmage, particularly against the run.
Overall, this is a toolsy prospect from a powerhouse program in Georgia, and the Pack stole him from the Tarheels at the last second. What’s not to like?
