COMMIT ALERT: 2026 TE William “Tex" Vaughn Picks NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from 2026 tight end William Vaughn‍. The Kings Mountain (NC) prospect chose NC State while on an official visit in Raleigh.

Vaughn, who stands at 6’4 and 231 pounds, committed to Boston College earlier this year before decommitting on November 15.

On3 lists Vaughn as a 3-star recruit and a top-25 player in the state of North Carolina. Vaughn chose NC State over offers from Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Florida, Florida State, and others.
