NC State has just landed a commitment from Crescent (SC) wide receiver Amiri Acker. The 2026 prospect was on campus for an official visit for the Wolfpack’s game against Florida State.
Acker, who decommitted from Liberty in October, spoke with Inside Pack Sports ahead of his visit and indicated that State had emerged as his leader.
“It’s just NC State right now at this point,” Acker said. “Coach Joker offered me back in May, and I think he’s a great guy. He’s been in the game a long time, and he’s a great person, too.”
Acker, who has been timed at 10.5 seconds in the 100-meter dash, is a three-star prospect and the No. 11 player in South Carolina per 247Sports. He becomes the fourth wide receiver in the 2026 class to commit to NC State.
