On what he’ll be for Halloween…
Two things, for Halloween, I'm gonna let y'all know, I'm gonna be the Muffin Man. Shout out to Dante Daniels, and I'm just here so I don't have fun, so let's get it done.
Is there a story behind the Muffin Man?
Honestly, if one of you guys, whenever Dante's back up here, ask him about it, please. Shout out to Terrell Anderson.
Well, what have you learned about the team in the last week and a half?
Our team, we're resilient. We're not gonna give up. We all fight for each other. We're all brothers, and we all got a lot of love, so it's like, you know the person next to you is giving their 100% of the time.
Do you do a personal self scout during the bye week?
Of course. Obviously, there's games that we wish we had back, but you can't reverse the clock. You can't rewind it, so just watch what you did and correct and do whatever you gotta do for these upcoming five games.
Do you look at it as, five games left of your college career, every game is precious?
Well... every game's been precious. There's some, I've made a pro on film, just like me being me. So obviously, these five games will be the last of my college career, or six, at least. But it's been fun, it's been rough.
What did you do on the bye week to kind of rest up a little? How'd you rest up?
I just laid down and just watched ball, watched the film. Once it's there, but other than that, not much. There's not really much.
Did the bye come in a good week for you guys, though?
Any bye's a good bye. I feel like any player can tell you that. But yeah, I think so. It let us reflect a lot, to say the least.
In the self-scout, what were some of the things you looked back at the beginning of this year and say that, hey, I want to improve personally going into the final five?
Just doing better. My practice still doesn't know what I need to do.
When you look back at the Notre Dame games, you guys weren't able to move the ball pretty consistently. What kind of play were you able to see from that and not being able to move the ball down the field?
They beat us and we beat ourselves. Really just 22 versus 0. Props to Notre Dame, they beat us, and they beat USC. So it shows, it’s not like they were a bad team either. But we beat ourselves in that game too.
What games did you watch on Saturday?
I watched the Syracuse-Pitt game. That Stanford-FSU game was crazy. I stayed up to that one. Georgia-Ole Miss,
What do you think of Pitt? What did they do well?
They’re aggressive, they’re a hard, tough team and their head coach emphasizes that. Really good d-line, linebackers, safeties, an all-around good defense. So, they’re going to bring the pressure, and we know that, so we got to get right during practice.
How would you describe Hollywood as a running back?
Versatile. Versatility, agility, speed. Whenever you guys get up here, I'm going to say S-symbol. And he's going to know exactly what that means. So you guys ask him about that one. But he does a little bit of everything, man. He's a leader on the team. As well as CJ, AC, all the guys. He's something you can count on if you need someone to make a play. He's your guy.
