On his strong performance against Duke...
It felt like a normal game, any other game to me. I don't know, I just felt like it was a normal game, I don't know.

How much did that touchdown help you settle in?
I would say I was already settled in from just pre-game. I like to look at every game, like approach every game the same. By the time he kicked the ball off, I was already settled in. I wasn't really worried about it or nothing.

You were used at multiple levels in the offense... how much do you feel you can be a weapon at every level in this offense?
I just feel like I'm a weapon myself. I’ve always made those plays. Those plays that I made out there, there's nothing new that surprised me. I've been catching deep balls over the shoulder, making plays after the catch.

It's just more of how I'm helping the team and how I'm being used.

You’ve caught hundred of screens... what has to go right on a screen?
Really the corner is the most important we have to block, and from there, it's just about making somebody miss, ike the safety or anybody that's scraping from the back end.

The D-line scrapes a lot faster, so once I get the ball, you have to get vertical. I've been doing that for the past few years. Every time I catch a screen or something, I like to get vertical early, so I'm not worried about all those people that are scraping.

What was it like when you saw the open field? You get past that first tackle, you made the guy miss. I went through the pictures, and you're yelling as you're running down the field, excited. What was that feeling like?

I was feeling good. I wasn't really yelling. It looked like I was yelling, but my nose was stuffed up the whole game. I was breathing out my mouth the whole game. That's why I had my mouthpiece in. Once I caught the ball, and I just sawthat the safety and the nickel, overplayed the run, so I just cut it back, and I just ran a little bit.

What do you guys have to do to get back on Saturday?
We just got to be more smart with the ball, prevent turnovers. We have the best offense in the ACC. We just got to protect the ball. Those little costly turnovers turn the whole game around.

What have you seen from Virginia Tech on film?
I don't know. I know that they have two 5’11 DBs and we feel like we can go at them.

What have you seen from CJ Bailey this week in terms of bouncing back and still being that leader for you guys?
CJ is the same person every day, even from the last game. I won't blame that game on him, but he carries himself the same way every day, in the locker room, off the field. He always has that positive mindset.

He is never too down on himself, so that's encouraging just to know that our quarterback can make a mistake, and he'll still be in the same person.  He won't be too hard on himself.
