COMMIT ALERT: 2026 Prep Center Trevon Carter-Givens Picks NC State

NC State just landed a commitment from Castaic (CA) SoCal Academy center Trevon Carter-Givens, one of the top defensive prospects in the 2026 high school class.
Carter-Givens picked NC State over offers from USC, San Diego State, Washington, Creighton, UNLV, Florida State, Arizona State, and TCU, among others.
He was on the Wolfpack’s campus this past weekend for an official visit and Will Wade and his staff were able to close the deal while Carter-Givens was on campus.
At 6-foot-11 and 190 pounds with a 7’6 wingspan, Carter-Givens is still developing offensively but has tools. He played this summer for Team Why Not on the Nike EYBL circuit where he finished second on the circuit in blocks per game at 2.3. He also averaged four points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 72.9% from the field and 65.4% from the free throw line.
Carter-Givens is NC State’s first commitment in the 2026 men’s basketball recruiting class.
Inside Pack Sports will have more shortly on his commitment so stay tuned!
