What's it been like, having three games under your belt with this new set of games?
It's been fun, just getting those wins, working hard together, just growing, continuing to grow, getting better.

So it's been fun having these last two games come down to defense making a play?
It's definitely been fun. We want the weight on our shoulders as a defense. We know we have to finish, be able to finish every game. All games, well most games are going to be close, so we have to be ready to finish those games. So doing it early is definitely going to help us out in the long run.

What does it just say about this team's grit to find a way to pull out, two wins in a row and, maybe you're sweating it out there a little bit in the final minutes?
That just shows our grit. As you said, two games coming down to the final possession and we wouldn't have it any other way. That's how we won it on defense. So that definitely shows our identity.

Any thoughts on Wake Forest? Have you scouted them?
They're a good team. They have some great players. Their running back's good. The quarterback's good. We're going to have to be very sound on defense this week.

Going up against a guy like Demond Claiborne, I mean, what's that like knowing, you've had the injury and we've won, but, it'll be a bounce back game this weekend.
Oh, yeah. We know we're going to have to be ready. We know what we're going to have to do. Our D coordinator, our defensive guys, they're going to be ready. They're going to get us ready to play the game.

Is it weird watching film and not seeing Wake Forest run the “slow mesh” offense?
Oh, yeah. It's definitely different. Since I've been here, that's all they've run for the past like 10 years. So it's definitely different. Learning a new scheme, going against a new team in the ACC. So we're excited for it.

Does it help that you've already played an ACC team, knowing that you're a real ACC opener when it counts in the standings and that sort of thing?
I think it definitely helps. Having already played an ACC team, as you said. We want to go 1-0 in the ACC. We want to go 1-0 every week, but this is our first ACC game. So we definitely want to put that on our schedule.
