MEN'S SOCCER: Pack Looks To Build On Sweet Sixteen Appearance

Inside Pack Sports recently spoke with NC State men’s soccer head coach Marc Hubbard, along with senior midfielders Taig Healy and Drew Lovelace, to get their thoughts on the upcoming 2025 season. 

Marc Hubbard enters his second season at NC State coming off a solid 2024 campaign where the Wolfpack reached the Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 1996. NCSU, which knocked off Charlotte and won at Georgetown in last season’s NCAA Tournament, also went the entire month of October unbeaten despite matchups against four nationally ranked clubs. 

Taig Healy and Drew Lovelace were two of the major contributors to NC State’s success. 

Healy followed Hubbard to NC State before the 2024 campaign and went on to tally six goals and six assists for the Wolfpack. Lovelace is a native of Holly Springs, North Carolina, and has four goals along with three assists in his three seasons at NCSU (41 games played).
