
NC State Announces Non-Conference Schedule for 2025-26 Season
RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men’s basketball program announced the non-conference portion of its 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
NC State will play eight home games, four neutral site games and one road contest before starting Atlantic Coast Conference play after the Christmas holiday.
The Pack are guaranteed to face five opponents that played in last season’s NCAA Tournament in the non-conference portion of its schedule.
In addition, eight of the 11 known non-conference opponents - two additional undetermined opponents will come during the team’s three-game trip to the Maui Invitational - won 20 or more games last season.
NC State will open the season with a four-game homestand inside the Lenovo Center.
The Pack will host NC Central on Monday, Nov. 3 to kick off the Will Wade Era before hosting UAB on Friday, Nov. 7, UNCG on Wednesday, Nov. 12 and VCU on Monday, Nov. 17.
NC State will travel to Hawaii to play in the Southwest Maui Invitational the week of Thanksgiving. The trip to the Aloha State will be the sixth in program history and the first since the 1995-96 season.
The Pack will face Seton Hall in the first round on Monday, Nov. 24 and then play Boise State or USC on Tuesday. The other side of the bracket features Arizona State, Chaminade, Texas and Washington State and NC State will face one of those four teams on Wednesday.
After returning from Hawaii, the Pack will get back on the road for an ACC/SEC Challenge game at Auburn who advanced to the Final Four last season.
The Pack then returns home for the first time in almost three weeks when it starts a three-game stretch at the Lenovo Center on Saturday, Dec. 6 against UNC Asheville. The Pack will then host Liberty on Wednesday, Dec. 10 before hosting Kansas on Saturday, Dec. 13 in its final non-conference home game at the Lenovo Center.
NC State returns to Reynolds Coliseum on Wednesday, Dec. 17 to host Texas Southern for the program’s annual Heritage Game.
The Pack closes the non-conference slate with a neutral site game in Greensboro against Ole Miss on Sunday, Dec. 21.
NC State’s ACC conference slate will be announced by the league office at a later date. The Pack will host Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, Stanford, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest, while playing Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Louisville, Notre Dame, Pitt, SMU, Virginia and Wake Forest on the road.
Tip-off times and television designations for all games will be released at a later date.
Season tickets for the 2025-26 are on sale now. Single game tickets for the 2025-26 go on sale for Wolfpack Club members at 8 a.m. on Thursday, August 14 and to the general public on Friday at 8 a.m.
