RALEIGH – The NC State women’s basketball team has signed Khamil Pierre, as announced by head coach Wes Moore on Tuesday. Pierre, a 6-2 forward from Phoenix, is a transfer from Vanderbilt and comes into the season regarded as one of the top forwards in the country.
Pierre arrives at NC State as a junior with two years of eligibility remaining.
“We’re super excited to add Khamil to the Pack,” said Moore. “We had recruited her out of high school and are thankful for a second chance to work with her. She’s been a walking double-double at the Power Four level and will make an immediate impact for our program.”
