COMMIT ALERT: Wolfpack Lands In-State Receiver

NC State hosted roughly a dozen of their top in-state prospects on Friday evening and came away with a commitment from Wilmington (NC) Hoggard wide receiver Chris Toudle‍.

"I had a feeling that NC State was going to be my future home," Toudle said.  "I prayed about it and I knew I was making the best decision for me."

The Pack offered Toudle back in February and he followed that up with a visit for junior day. After that trip it was clear the Pack had emerged as a serious player for his comittment.

"That's the kind of football program I want to be around," Toudle told Inside Pack Sports. "It's fun and a fun program to be in but when we have to get down to business then we play football and get serious about it. I think that's the perfect atmosphere in a football program that you want. Obviously you can tell that they are winning games and they've been crazy good these last few years."

In addition to NC State, Toudle also held offers from Maryland, Wake Forest, Appalachian State and Rice. During his junior year Toudle halued in 32 passes for 556 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Toudle is NC State's third commitment in the 2019 recruiting class and the Wolfpack's first wide receiver commitment.
