When you made your runs, what were you able to do offensively and defensively to cut into Seton Hall’s lead?
We defended well -- that’s how we got back into the game and made shots on our runs.

You couldn’t get over the hump, why is that?
We just missed shots when we needed them. We played the game defensively, and that kind of held us back.

Did it get mentally exhausting?
I didn’t get mentally exhausted, just a little frustrated when we couldn’t get over it. You know, we played our hearts out and had great effort. We just didn’t make the shots when we needed them.

How did the fouls affect your game?
I started off with a quick foul that definitely slowed the game down, going out cold then trying to come back up again. Definitely not a good transition.

What has the season meant for you guys?
To be honest, nobody expected us to be here. It means that we did what no one expected. I’m just proud of my team, just being able to make it this far.

How physical was Seton Hall?
It wasn’t anything too crazy. They made tough shots. That’s what really set them apart. I don’t feel like they were extremely tough or anything like that.

Do you feel like you could have done anything different defensively?
No. At half time it wasn’t really part of our principles. Coach said it wasn’t any breakdown stuff, we were there they just had the hot hand. They made tough shots and stuff like that. We were there; they just got hot.

Why wasn’t your team able to sustain a consistent offense?
I feel like we ran our offense and we got the shots we wanted sometimes. They just didn’t go in. I think we shot 50 percent in the first half. It wasn’t really our offense, it was our defense.
