PORTAL COMMIT: North Texas CB Brian Nelson II Picks NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from North Texas transfer cornerback Brian Nelson II. As a redshirt freshman in 2024, the 1st-Team All-AAC defender started in 8 games, totaling 53 tackles, 4 INTs, and 3 PBUs.

Nelson appeared in four games during his freshman year while preserving his redshirt. He finished the season with six tackles and three PBUs.

Nelson, who stands at 6’ and 191 lbs, is from Pearland, Texas. He played high school football at Shadow Creek and was rated as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports.
