Norfolk State Star LB AJ Richardson Shares Thoughts on NC State Commitment

Norfolk State linebacker AJ Richardson has committed to NC State out of the transfer portal.

Over 2 years for the Spartans, Richardson amassed 170 tackles, 21.5 TFLs, 3 sacks, 2 FFs, 4 FRs, 3 PBUs, and 1 INT. Richardson was an FCS All-American in 2023 and All-MEAC in 2024.

After entering the portal, Richardson collected offers from East Carolina, UTEP, UMASS, and others. 

The Kings Mountain, North Carolina, native stands at 6’1 and 245 pounds.
