Jayden Taylor

“Everybody played hard, and we came in wanting to be 2-0. Everybody contributed, and we got a win.”

“I just went with the flow of the game. I tried to take what was available  with the open shots.”

“It gave me confidence for sure, but that’s just who I am. I try to be the same, no highs and lows, just be even-keeled throughout the whole season. It definitely helps my confidence, but that’s just who I am as a player.”

Ben Middlebrooks

“It definitely been a lot. [Kevin Keatts] is just trying to push me to be the big energy guy. I’m trying to be the big spark plug on the team: getting rebounds, steals, blocks, and things like that. I’m really just trying to bring the team up when we’re having rough patches or down moments in the game.”

“It’s definitely in my comfort zone. I’ve always been that type of player. To hear him reinforce that and speak that confidence into me is huge. I’ve played like that my whole life, so it’s definitely not a problem for me.”

“I’m feeling very good for sure. I’ve had a couple of very good games, but we’re moving forward. I’m just going to keep it going and try to do it in the next one.”

Dontrez Styles

“It’s been a smooth adjustment. They’ve made it easy for me to go out there, play hard, and do everything I can to help my team get the win.”

“We’re probably going to be the best front court in the league. They’re great players, and they make it very easy for me.”

“I pride my game on being versatile, and being here is a perfect fit.”

Brandon Huntley-Hatfield

“It’s amazing. [Taylor] creates for himself, and he creates for others. He’s been very good for us.”

“Very strong. We have transitional pieces between myself — Ish [Diouf] will be back on Wednesday — Ben, and Trez. We’re looking to do a lot of damage.”

“The whole front court has been putting in work from May until now, so it’s been great to see it come to fruition.”
