Marcus Hill
“It felt good. After the first exhibition, I got out the nerves. It felt good getting out there and playing with the team.”
“You never know whose night it’s going to be. Everybody’s good on the team. You can see it in practice. You never know.”
“There aren’t any days where you can take off or slack. You’ve got to bring it. If you want to play, you’ve got to compete.”
Dontrez Styles
“It’s very strong. We have a lot of guys that can go out there and compete. It’ll be a great team.”
“Every day, you’ve got to bring it. Every day, you’ve got to be prepared to have a good practice.”
“We knew we couldn’t come out here and do what we did last week. We practice hard, we prepared well, and this is the outcome.”
Breon Pass
“I stayed, I trusted the process, and now it’s time for me to perform and do what I do best.”
“I feel like all the work I put in through the years finally paid off. I just have to go from here.”
“This is my last first game here, but I wasn’t nervous. I’m not a freshman anymore. I’ve been through this.”
Brandon Huntley-Hatfield
“We’ve just got to trust in our work and trust in each other.”
“[Ben Middlebrooks] has been focusing on his work and trusting his work. He doesn’t do anything out of the ordinary; he just does what he works on. You could see that tonight. He’s been in the gym for countless hours, getting shots up. We all see the product.”
“We lean on these guys. It could be anybody’s night. We have full belief in each other and trust each other out there.”
