Kevin Keatts on Primetime With The Pack: "What A Great Night"
NC State head coach Kevin Keatts met with the media after the Primetime With The Pack event in Reynolds Coliseum.

“Nobody direct message me and ask about defense, we’re going to work on it. We’ll get better at that.”
“What a great night for us and our women’s team... it was just good to get these guys out here and extend the love a little bit and for some of our fans to meet them.”
“I like our team. I’ve warned everybody. This is not the same team at the end of the year that won nine straight games.”
“We have to develop chemistry, but we do have some very exciting pieces that I like and I think we can go two-deep at every position.”
“We’ve had eight new folks, so it gives them a new chance to meet some people.”
“We’ve been waiting on Trey Parker to win this slam dunk contest for two years. I told Dontrez Styles he had no chance. He said, ‘I’m going to win it coach.’ I said, ‘You’ve got no chance.’ I think after the first dunk it kind of deflated everybody else in the dunk contest.”
“[Trey Parker] is really improving. Obviously it’s tough as a freshman and even tougher as a freshman point guard, but I will say in the last week he’s taken his biggest strides. He’ll be able to help us. I know you’ve seen him dunk, but he’s so much more than just a dunker. He’s becoming a very good basketball player.”
“We’ll dealing with the normal, ankle, or finger... I want to make sure everybody is ready for the start of the season. I wasn’t going to put anybody out there dealing with any... all of our injuries are minor injuries right now.”
