BREAKING: McCall Retires From Football

NC State quarterback Grayson McCall announced via social media Wednesday evening that he is ending his football playing career.

After exiting the Wolfpack’s Oct. 5 game against Wake Forest, The Indian Trail, N.C. ultimately decided to wrap up his time on the gridiron following a series of injuries throughout his time in college football. With his playing career at an end, McCall has stated his intentions to transition to coaching.

McCall threw for 518 yards and  three touchdowns in four games in Raleigh. Prior to transferring to State, he amassed over 10,000 yards with 88 touchdowns at Coastal Carolina where he won Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
