NC State's Aydan White and Timothy McKay met with the media after the loss to Wake Forest.

“We stopped playing together. We stopped communicating. That's what ended up happening on the last couple of downs, no communication by us. They ended up making the plays that we should have made.”

“Everybody's got to stick together and know what we want at the end. Keep chasing what we can do. Make sure we keep staying together. No outside noise from anybody.”

“We've got to finish. That's what we didn't do. Up by 10 points in the fourth quarter and didn't finish the game, that's what it comes down to. We've got to finish as a whole.”

Lineman Tim McKay

“It was heartbreaking to see that. He's a guy that's fought hard for us. He came here from Coastal. He's a captain. To see him go down earlier in the season and go down again this week was disheartening. I know how hard he works for us. It's really sad seeing that.”

“Disappointed in ourselves. A lot of opportunities where the defense had takeaways, and the offense went out there and didn't respond. Didn't score any points. Happened multiple times. Going forward we need to do a better job of playing complementary football. Stay on the field as the offense. Make sure the defense isn't on the field the whole time, really important.”
