Several NC State players met with the media to discuss the 30-20 home win over Louisiana Tech.

Linebacker Caden Fordham

“We came out with a different energy and Davin Vann made that first play to spark us.”

“Anytime their number is called they’ll be ready to play.”

“We’ll need guys to step up.”

“It sucks to see your boy go out, Cisse, but Corey and Marshall stepped up. I knew those guys were ready. They are always locked in at practice.”

“CJ, his arm is ridiculous. The throws he can make and the velocity behind his throws is tough to defend at times... he’s sneaky fast, he has a long stride.”

Tight End Justin Joly

“We have a saying, stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.’ CJ came out there and we had his back.”

“He had confidence in us and we have confidence in him.”

“For myself, knowing that corner when [Noah] had that foot down I was hyped.”

“After I caught it, I was hyped.  CJ and Grayson, I’m just happy they are here.”

“We can get this done, we just had to stop slacking.”

“Just get ready... he has confidence.  Just be who you are. They recruited you for a reason, you’re here.”

“Those two touchdowns I’d say were on me... I really just gave them momentum, honestly.”
