“The main thing on my mind was to come in and take care of the ball... that’s the first thing first... just play ball and not worry about one thing.”
“Grayson was always behind me, saying I’m not feeling right but you need to go in and make a play.”
“When my name was called I stepped in to make plays for my team and we won the game.”
“That was the main thing, step in and be that guy for the team... you’re in the position, act like you’re here before.”
“The main thing was the stay level-headed.”
“I was just going off what the defense did. The defense was making plays so I had to step in and make plays as well.”
“Right now we’re celebrating and happy for the win. it’s really a team win.”
“We were going out there in the second half and playing for each other.”
“Playing at Chaminade was a big reason I wanted to play at NC State... I wanted to play in those big games as well at NC State. It prepared me a lot for these moments right here.”
“The fans are way different... everybody is up and live.”
“Learning lesson... I had to learn. Watching Grayson was great and I learned a lot from Grayson... I had to think about everything coach Rope taught me, coach Doeren, and Grayson.”
“I just wanted to make a play. When I made that play it felt amazing.”
“I kind of had jitters, I’ll be honest, but after that... bad mistake I made, let’s just go play ball... that’s what I did.”
