“Gotta go to work.  I think we were all confident going into it, thought we had a good plan.  Came out here and laid an egg tonight.  Didn’t play our kind of ball on offense, defense didn’t play great, special teams not great, too many penalties hurting ourself and all of that starts with me.”

“I know I didn’t play well tonight. The message is to go back to Raleigh, watch back the game, and move on to the next.”

“We have a lot of work to do.”

“It was miscommunication between me and Justin.  He stopped and I thought he was going to keep running.”

“I think we got behind the sticks a lot, hurting ourselves with penalties... we were'nt able to sustain drives and when we did we got into the redzone and couldn’t finish.”

“In this game you have three downs to get three more downs... when we continue to set ourselves back and get behind the chains, it just makes it that much more challenging.”

“I think the leadership is fine. I try to do my best to keep the guys up and keep fighting no matter what the scoreboard says.”

“When things go bad you have to go out and play for the guy next to you.”

“The expectations are still high for this football team. We just didn’t perform the way we wanted. The expectations for myself are high and I just didn’t perform the way I wanted to.  That hurts a little bit, but it’s a team effort and I try not to beat myself up over it.”

“I don’t think they really change. We’ll go watch the tape and can’t let one loss turn into two or three.”

“When you have a bad night you have to learn from your mistakes and your guys have to continue to be accountable for what happened tonight.”

“Tomorrow I’m going to be a great learner.”

“It sucks.  WHen you’re in that situation somebody has to step up and make a play.  I think I can be a guy for my team to step up and do that... everything that could have went wrong felt like it did tonight.”
