COMMIT ALERT: 2026 QB Jacob Smith Makes It Official

NC State just landed its quarterback for the 2026 recruiting cycle, as Reagan HS (NC) signal caller Jacob Smith‍ committed to NC State.

A Wolfpack baseball commit, Smith tallied 2,051 passing yards and 19 touchdowns during his sophomore season.

Smith has been a frequent visitor at NC State, attending both summer camp in June and the Alpha Wolf Showcase in July.

Smith, a three-star prospect and top-30 player in the state according to Rivals, chose NC State over Duke, UNC, and others.
