NC State Pitcher Logan Whitaker Picked By Minnesota

NC State starting pitcher Logan Whitaker was just selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 19th round of the 2024 MLB Draft.

Whitaker pitched 59 innings in his final season for the Wolfpack posting a 5.49 ERA with 22 base on balls and 69 strikeouts.  

He is out eligibility and will begin his pro career with the Twins.

Really happy for Logan. Dude balled out in the postseason. His stuff really improved this year. Fb up to 94 and a dang near unhittable change up.
